The Story of Billy Brick

It all began one normal day at the brick factory when it happened… a group of construction workers came with forklifts to gather bricks to be used in the construction of Jacob Black Academy. Bob and Barbara Brick tried to hide from the men but their son Billy was stuck in a corner and there was nothing they could do but be captured by the men. A man picked up Billy while another picked up his parents and placed them in a box. Billy though was being directed into another direction and placed in a different box. Billy screamed in his mind to be with his parents as not to scare the human and break rule one of the brick code which was never to let a human hear or see you for what you really were.

The man began to drive the forklift towards a truck in which he loaded his box of bricks onto. Billy was heartbroken sitting in the box of complete strangers and terrified at the fact of where he was going in the truck. After, a few more boxes were loaded the men closed the back of the truck and the truck took off towards its destination. About 20 minutes later the truck was at its destination, the future site of Jacob Black Academy. The truck was opened by brand new faces of construction workers and was unloaded. The men hauled the boxes to their destined places and then went on their lunch break. Leaving Billy quietly sobbing to himself in the box full of strangers.

The lunch hour passed by quickly and all the workers resumed their duties. Billy awoke from his sobbing session to the noise of man and other contraptions. Suddenly, the lid to the box was opened and Billy was grabbed by a rough hand. In his sea of confusion Billy was smeared with something cold and liquid-like and placed on a familiar brick. Billy peeked below him as the construction worker went to get more bricks and was overwhelmed with joy. His parents were below him with a spacey look plastered on their faces. Billy immediately cried out for them and their faces went from spacey to happiness as they realized their son was above them. They all rejoiced in a happy manner as they lived happily ever after in Mr. Dizzy’s classroom.
